Katie is a Chartered Town Planner with two decades of experience working in the public sector at local authorities in Hertfordshire and Essex, before establishing KS Town Planning in June 2023.
Katie has a passion for Town Planning and in particular thrives on the challenges of getting tricky developments to work.
Katie believes in the principle that the Planning system should be accessible to all and enjoys working with both individuals and professional companies to help them navigate what can sometimes be a confusing and often onerous process.
With Katie’s local authority background and her focus on clients’ needs and desires, she works to balance the competing demands of policies, design, neighbours and the environment with the developer’s need to deliver a financially viable development.
Katie is a chartered member of both the Royal Town Planning Institute and the Institute of Economic Development.
