New dwelling in Waltham Abbey, Essex

 The landowner had been seeking planning permission for the site since submitting an application in 2018. He later engaged Katie who approached the Council to agree a way forward on the site.

 

Using the original architectural plans, Katie assisted the Client by co-ordinating technical consultants and producing a Planning Statement to address the numerous planning considerations, including Flood Risk and the Epping Forest Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Katie remained in communication with the Planning Officers throughout their assessment of the Planning application, responses to any issues as they arose. Having secured a favourable recommendation from the Planning Officer, Katie attended the public Planning Committee meeting to address councillors and explain why planning permission should be granted despite objections raised by a number of neighbouring residents. The Planning Committee resolved to Grant Planning Permission.
